Dixie Quail Hunting Preserve
About Us
DIXIE QUAIL is located in Middle Tennessee in the small community of Lascassas, which is about 15 miles east of Murfreesboro, and 35 miles southeast of Nashville. We have 125 acres, strategically planned and planted, to hold an abundance of wildlife, including quail, pheasant, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, deer, and much more. What would appear to be weeds to most people is actually planted varieties of lespedeza, bluestem broom sedge, switch grass, ragweed, beggar weed, partridge peas, and a host of other plantings to hold and provide excellent food and cover for all types of wildlife, especially game birds. There are also several acres of forage oats and clover fields carefully placed to attract and hold deer and turkeys, and many stand sites to choose from to hunt them.
At Dixie Quail we specialize in women and children, and first time hunters of any age, and work very hard to insure your success. In fact, several of our stand sites offer very comfortable conditions even in the worst weather, as well as good concealment for anxious young hunters with a limited attention span, whether they are just watching or actually shooting. These stands create an excellent opportunity for youngsters to harvest their first deer, turkey, or even squirrel.
We are absolutely committed to providing real hunts and lasting memories at a price most anyone can afford. We invite you to check around and compare our packages with anyone, and then give us a call to arrange your next hunt. The youngsters, seniors, and anyone in between, can all be accommodated with ease, and most any arrangement can be made for any need, including lodging. At Dixie Quail, your complete satisfaction is our first priority, and we really enjoy the opportunity to contribute to your list of favorite memories.
