Spring Turkey Season Hunts:

All prices are per gun. Guided Turkey hunts $125 for 1/2 day and $200 for full day.

This is a flat rate with no trophy fee. All StatewideTurkey Regulations apply.

Bag Limits

One (1) bearded turkey per day, per gun, not to exceed four (4) per season.

Statewide Spring Young Sportsman Hunt

March 27-28, 2010 (ages 6 through 16). One (1) bearded turkey which counts toward statewide bag. Each youth must be accompanied by a nonhunting adult, 21 years of age or older, who must remain in a position to take immediate control of the hunting device, who is not required to have a license.

Fall Deer Hunts will be $125 for half day and $200 for full day. Archery Hunts are only $50 for a full day. - Unit L

Fall deer hunt prices are based solely on the weapon used, be it archery, muzzeloader, or gun. Archery is $50 per day and includes one turkey of either sex as allowed by state law. Muzzleloader and Gun hunts are $125 for a half day, or $200 for a full day. This includes our assistance in retrieval of your harvested animal from the field to your truck, as well as field dressing, should you be successful. (All hunts are "fair chase" with no guarantee) We have several elevated, enclosed deer stands overlooking multiple food plots in addition to numerous other stand sites to choose from. We will start booking our deer hunts on October 1. These hunts will be booked with $50 deposits (refundable up to 10 days prior to the hunt). Hunts will be booked on a "first come-first serve bases". All hunters are required to hunt from a stand site; we allow no still or ground hunting, as we are very careful about human scent and educating the deer herd. Hunters must be in the stands prior to daylight for the morning hunts and hold the stand till dark on afternoon hunts. No deer should ever see a hunter. All state wide regulations will apply, with the exception of the harvesting numbers - we only allow one deer per hunter per day of any sex. Prices are per gun/bow. An injured animal, due to a misplaced shot, will count as the only opportunity for that hunt, thus all hunters should be proficient with their weapon. Your success and enjoyment of the hunting experience is very important to us here at Dixie Quail. We get just as anxious and excited about a successful hunt as you do! We Strongly encourage Gun/Muzzleloader hunters to bring a non hunting guest (spouse, son, daughter, grandchild, ect.) at no extra charge to share in the experience.

Young Sportsman Oct 31 -Nov 1,2009 and Jan 16-17, 2010 As per state law:Youths 6-16 years of age only. Each young sportsman must be accompanied by a non-hunting adult, 21 years of age or older, who must remain in a position to take immediate control of the hunting device and who must also comply with fluorescent orange regulations, as specified for legal hunters. Youths 10 years of age or older must meet Hunter Education requirements.
